Brockwell Park, Wick

Gloucestershire, 2026

Wick and Abson Parish Council in South Gloucestershire invited us to transform their popular park. We designed as a focal point a handsome Galleon with lots of ups and downs, moored alongside a large spiders web. We also built an agility trail and a twin tower play structure for smaller children.

The Ranch, Southmead's Adventure Playground

Bristol

We were invited to build a fun and attractive raised platform amongst the trees for younger children. In addition to the slide, nets and ramps, there's room for the addition of more ascents and descents in the future. We have also repaired several items of their original equipment and installed a fat rope swing, monkey bars and more.

Callington Primary Academy

Cornwall

We designed and built a large playground shelter which will double as an outdoor classroom. We also supplied a new agility trail and tepee for Key Stage 1 but usable by KS2 children.

Charlton Farm Children's Hospice

Somerset, 2026

We won the contract to create a new play and sensory space for this Somerset hospice. After several design permutations we settled on a farm theme and installed a life size play tractor, shepherd’s hut shelter and several items of wheelchair accessible play equipment. We also created some colourful pollinator haven flower beds in this lovely countryside location.

Snapdragons Nursery

Weston Road, Bath

Following repair works to play equipment at two Snapdragons childrens’ nurseries, we were commissioned to design and build a mini adventure space at their terrific Weston Road site, along with a pretty shingle-roof hut.

Weston Rec Woodland Trail

Bath, 2026

Active Weston, a community group in Bath, invited us to design a woodland trail for all ages through a small wood at the top of the rec. We built a mix of wonky beams, monkey bars, stepping logs, a vertical net and swing rope, all in the wettest conditions you couldn't hope for. Hence the photos show it under mud!

Stoke Lodge Primary

Bristol

The school PTA invited us to build a canopy that could shield a whole class from the sun and rain - an outdoor classroom effectively. Despite a tight budget we managed to exceed expectations with this cable drum and S-shaped bench design anchored deep into the tarmac surface.

Redcliffe Children's Centre

Bristol

This popular city centre nursery has a great mix of structured and free play. The centrepiece is a pair of tree platforms linked by a rope bridge. We created this play structure as the centre piece of a larger project with a bike track. There’s an artificial grass mound and tunnel, living walls, mud and sand play, rubber surfacing and other play equipment. This platform has a shop window below. The cut out leaf shapes have coloured acrylic which project autumn colours inside the space when it’s sunny.

Hortham Play Park

South Gloucestershire

Despite limited space and budget, we managed to squeeze a lot of play features into this public park. Swings, monkey bars, a grass mound and tunnel linked by bridges to a pair of platforms and a balance trail.

Kingswood Prep School

Bath

We were asked to design and build a handsome tower with various ups and downs, including monkey bars and a double slide.

Maiden Beech Primary

Crewkerne, Somerset

A large hexagonal platform built around a lovely tree links by a wobbly bridge to a second platform with a few ways up and down and the option to add more in the future. A large grassed mound has a slide and wonky balance log, tunnel and playground telephone.

St Peter & Paul's School

Bristol

SSPP was one of our earliest schools and we delighted ourselves and the school community with a large tree platform, two stages (one of them chair accessible), a small Larch climbing frame and a pergola festooned with hanging baskets. Almost all of the timber was sourced from Somerset.

Merebrook Primary Barn

Merebrook Primary barn was renovated by us alongside some landscaping work for their Forest School.

Family Tree House

South Gloucestershire

We were commissioned to build a fun grandchildren’s tree house which also had to look fab. Includes beam bridge, floor hatch, Larch cladding, Cedar shingle roof and stained glass windows.

Handmade timber pergolas and swing frames for private gardens, schools and parks, built in durable Larch and Oak and designed to suit the space they sit in.

Mill House

Somerset

Mill House in Somerset is a pretty home with an old mill stream running alongside. The customer wanted to replace a rotting deck with a larger structure to include a bridge over the stream to give better garden access. We had a terrific time building this large Accoya deck for a lovely Somerset couple at their old mill home. The deck features a glazed skylight and rainproof cladding to make the space below useable in all weather. And there’s a bridge over the stream to a small BBQ platform and stairs into the garden.

• Use of Accoya deckboards, chemical and heat treated timber that has a 50 year guarantee, for uncompromising durability.
• Waterproofing of the dining space below the deck using polycarbonate sheeting.
• Addition of skylights for better lighting below deck.
• Beautiful Somerset Larch for the frame and balustrade with stainless steel cabling.
• A small bbq platform over the bridge and a log bench below.

Manor Road Community Woodland Boardwalk

Bath & North East Somerset

A boardwalk replacement for Bath and North East Somerset Council’s Parks department, completed to budget and to time, improving accessibility around a much loved local greenspace.

Bridge Renovation, Royal Victoria Park

Bath

A renovation of the ornamental bridge in Royal Victoria Park, Bath, rebuilt in durable timber to carry park visitors over the water while keeping the character of the original structure.

Your Park Social Seating

Bristol & Bath

Bespoke social seating areas built for Your Park Bristol & Bath, part of a project to improve park facilities for teenage girls. The build involved significant logistics to bring large tree sections on site.

Private Garden Landscaping

Terraces, paving, planting, decks and level changes for private gardens, using lower impact materials and reusing as much of the existing site as we can.

The Spinney

South Gloucestershire

Ground preparation, seeding and a handmade Larch pergola for a large private garden, blending hard landscaping with new wildflower and meadow planting.

Blue Lodge Wildlife Pond

South Gloucestershire

A wildlife pond and wildflower area designed and dug from scratch, photographed one year on with established marginal planting and a meadow edge teeming with insect life.

Jonny's Pond

Somerset

A large wildlife pond built into a sloping field, with shallow sloping edges and planting ledges so the pond is safe as well as rich in habitat.

Kingswood Pond Deck

Bath

A timber pond deck and dipping platform built to give school groups safe, close access to the water for wildlife study.
